"I've always thought I was good at design...my friends are always asking for advice. So I was a bit skeptical as to how I could benefit from a one day re-design, especially as we'd just bought and restored our house and thought it was looking pretty good. But there were some things driving me crazy.. being an old character house, the flow was challenging, there was nowhere logical (or attractive) to put the TV that made for comfortable seating, and no closet space and everything was just looking too cluttered. Well...not anymore! Val and her team moved things around to places I would never have thought of putting them...and it works! They also found wonderfull ways to display our collection of pottery and art from trips to France and Portugal, so they get the attention they deserve. Our living room and den look soooo much better and are so much more functional now, down to putting the file cabinet on an angle so we could actually access our files without having to pull the whole thing out. Even our old sofa looks so much better in the new location, we're no longer feeling we have to get rid of it right away. We're thrilled, and our friends are very impressed..in fact it looks so good we think we should put the house up for sale!"
